Shares of Ivanhoe Electric slipped after the company said its underwritten public offering was priced at $13.50.
The stock was down 12% at $13.52 in premarket trading. As of market close Wednesday, shares had gained 27% since the start of the year.
The minerals exploration and development company said early Thursday morning that it will offer more than 11.8 million shares at $13.50 apiece for gross proceeds of about $160 million.
The offering will close on Sept. 18.
