Tirupati Graphite said it will explore options to combine its business with PranaGraf Materials & Technologies after an initial acquisition couldn’t be completed due to regulatory restrictions.
The graphite, graphene and advanced-materials company said Monday that it could continue to seek regulatory approval for the acquisition under a share-swap deal, invest in the company through alternative investment vehicles or reach an commercial arrangement with PranaGraf.
“Having completed the acquisition of Suni Resources and arranged the progress of ramp up of production at our Madagascar projects, we are now well placed to focus on this and shall update the markets as we progress further,” Chairman Shishir Poddar said.
